Hi, I'm Tammy
After the birth of my son I was motivated to become a postpartum doula after witnessing first hand the lack of holistic support provided by the medical industry to 'hold' the mother throughout the life changing transition to motherhood.
I graduated from Newborn Mothers in July 2024 as a Postpartum Education and Care Professional.
My background is in Community Development which has given me opportunities to work both in Australia in remote communities and abroad in the Philippines and India.
Connect Postpartum is dedicated to providing digital postpartum doula support to make the postpartum period easier for new mums wherever they live.
I aim to offer evidence based information, guidance, and emotional support to empower new mums because raising a newborn can be tough but you don't have to feel alone.
Mothers need just as much attention as newborns, as they too have just been born
